  • Publication number: 20240124549
Abstract: Fusion proteins include an extracellular domain of PD1 protein (programmed cell death protein-1) and/or an extracellular domain of PD-L1 protein (programmed cell death-ligand 1 protein (CD274 or B7-H1)). Portions of the extracellular domains are expressed in specific configurations and purified as protein, which are used in immunoassays to monitor the circulating levels of biotherapeutic antibodies to these proteins. A method is for determining the amount of circulating levels of a biotherapeutic antibody in a biological sample obtained from a patient when the patient has undergone at least one dose of immunotherapy.

  • Publication number: 20220180102
Abstract: Reducing false negatives and finding new classes in object detectors is disclosed. Also disclosed is a method that includes grouping together a plurality of cropped image portions from region proposals based on image properties. The method also includes receiving first user input that either establishes that the grouped together, cropped image portions relate to uninteresting objects or establishes that the grouped together, cropped image portions relate to an object class of interesting objects. The method also includes obtaining, only when the grouped together, cropped image portions relate to the object class of interesting objects, second user input that includes an object label corresponding to the object class of interesting objects.

  • Publication number: 20210289264
Abstract: A method for performing an appearance search using a map involves receiving search commencement input requesting that an appearance search for one or more objects-of-interest commence be performed. In response to the search commencement input, one or more video recordings for the one or more objects-of-interest are searched. In conjunction with a map on a display, one or more appearance search results depicting the one or more objects-of-interest are then displayed. Each of the appearance search results depicts the one or more objects-of-interest as captured by a camera at a time during the one or more video recordings, and is depicted in conjunction with the map at a location indicative of a geographical location of the camera. The method may be performed using a video surveillance system and stored on one or more computer-readable media for execution using that system.

  • Publication number: 20070200413
Abstract: An apparatus and method for adjusting the height of a vehicle head restraint includes a top cover, latch assembly, and bottom cover. The top cover is connected to the head restraint. A latch assembly is moveable in a lateral direction relative to a latch post, and a bottom cover connects to the top cover, sandwiching the latch assembly between the top and bottom covers. When the button portion of the latch assembly is actuated, the latch assembly unlatches from the latch post, allowing the height of the head restraint to be adjusted. By directly connecting to the underside of the head restraint, the apparatus is further operative to close out the bottom closeout opening on the underside of the head restraint and provide an aesthetically pleasing finish.

  • Patent number: 5619255
Abstract: An apparatus and method for displaying wide-screen images by assembling a composite image from three or more video segments, wherein a panoramic or cinematic wide-screen image is captured using three or more standard video cameras that are lined up, side-by-side, and are positioned on their sides such that the scan lines for each video camera run vertically. The cameras are arrayed radially and each captures a segment of the image. First, second and third video signals representing the image segments are input to corresponding first, second and third television monitors. The monitors are also positioned on their sides such that their scan lines also run vertically. The monitors are arranged around a half-silvered mirror which is inclined at forty-five degrees with respect to the floor.
