Abstract: A wet shaving razor case suitable for storage of a razor having a cartridge and adjoining handle, the case comprises an upper portion comprising a cartridge hold down member disposed at a periphery of said upper portion and a handle-receiving recess; a lower portion joined to the upper portion wherein the lower portion comprises a engagement member positioned along a periphery of the lower portion; and wherein upon closure of the upper portion onto the lower portion the hold down member both secures the cartridge within the case and engages with the engagement member to maintain closure of the upper portion on the lower portion.

Abstract: A wet shaving cartridge comprising with a housing having a guard, a cap, and a pair of spaced apart interior walls between the cap and the guard. A blade retention bump is positioned on at least one of the spaced apart interior walls. At least one resilient blade retention member extends laterally from one of the interior walls toward the other interior wall. At least one clip mounted to the housing. At least one blade is positioned between the resilient blade retention member and at least one of the interior walls. The blade is rigidly fixed in a first direction between the clip and the blade retention bumps and retained in a second direction between the resilient blade retention members and at least one of the interior walls.

Abstract: A shaving cartridge-cover assembly having a housing with a guard, a cap, a rear wall with at least one retention member, a front wall, and a pair of side walls. At least one blade is mounted to the housing between the guard and the cap. A protective cover has a top wall, a front wall and a rear wall that define a pair of opposing open ends. The housing has a dimension between the retention member and the front wall that is greater than an inner width of the open ends of the protective cover such that sliding one of the side walls of the housing into at least one of the open ends deflects the front and rear walls of the protective cover to facilitate mounting of the protective cover over the housing.

Abstract: A cartridge cover assembly having a reversible cover and a shaving cartridge with a first and second positions. The cartridge has at least one blade, a top surface having a front end portion with a guard member and a rear end portion with a lubricating strip. The cover has a front wall with a first retention member, a back wall with a second retention member, a bottom wall, and a pair of side walls defining a pocket dimensioned to nestingly receive the cartridge. The rear end portion of the cartridge is engaged between the first retention member and the front wall in the first position. The rear end portion of the cartridge is engaged between the second retention member and the back wall in the second position. The top surface of the cartridge is spaced apart from the bottom wall of the cover in the first and second positions.

Abstract: A novel razor package suitable for protectively storing a razor with a cartridge and adjoining handle is disclosed. The package includes at least one container with upper and lower portions. The upper portion includes a cartridge-receiving recess and the lower portion includes a handle-receiving recess. A cover sheet covers the container's top perimeter and is sealed to the container such that a user can peel it back to open and access the razor. With two or more containers in the razor package the cover sheets may have a sheet separability line area (e.g., perforations) between them to allow for easy peeling. Additionally, these containers may be secured together via a container separability line area, allowing a user to also pull off one container from the package at a time. The container and sheet separability line areas may be aligned and may or may not be formed at the same time.

Abstract: A wet shaving razor case suitable for storage of a razor having a cartridge and adjoining handle. The cartridge is pivotal about a pivot axis with respect to the handle. The case includes a lower portion and an upper portion. The upper portion includes a handle-receiving recess and is removably secured to the lower portion between an open position and a closed position. When in the closed position the cartridge is positioned within the case, the handle extends from the case and the case inhibits the cartridge from pivoting with respect to the handle.
