  • Publication number: 20140348672
Abstract: An exhaust gas turbocharger (1) having a turbine housing (2), having a compressor housing (3), having a bearing housing (4), has a bearing housing axis (L), and having a connecting device (5), for connecting the bearing housing (4) to the compressor housing (3) and/or the turbine housing (2). The connecting device has a plurality connecting elements (6) each have a connecting element end face (7). The number of bores (8) in the compressor housing (3) corresponds to the number of connecting elements (6). The bores and the connecting elements (6) inserted into the bores (8) are arranged at an acute angle (?) with respect to the bearing housing axis (L), and the connecting element end faces (7) rest on an associated bearing surface (9) of the bearing housing (4) and/or turbine housing (2).

  • Patent number: 8756273
Abstract: A system and method for handling of cross-system metadata in a system landscape with a hub and backend systems is presented. Reference metadata that is associated with a first backend system and that refers to metadata of a second backend system is stored in a storage associated with the first backend system, the storage further separately storing backend system metadata that is associated only with the first backend system. Connecting metadata, which establishes a connection between backend system metadata associated with the first backend system and backend system metadata of any other backend system, is stored separately. At 206, the first backend system is linked to the hub by the connecting metadata from storage associated with the first backend system to a hub storage associated with the hub. The connecting metadata is activated in the hub to link the first backend system with the second backend system.

  • Publication number: 20140149450
Abstract: A system includes reception of an instruction to access a column of a database table, determination that the column is not associated with the schema of the database table, determination of whether the schema of the database table is flexible or static, returning, if it is determined that the schema of the database table is static, of an error in response to the instruction, and, if it is determined that the schema of the database table is flexible, not returning an error in response to the instruction.

  • Publication number: 20130166563
Abstract: Example systems and methods of integrating text analysis and search functionality are presented. In one example, a plurality of documents, as well as search information comprising search terms for a search category, are accessed. Each of the documents that include at least one of the search terms is identified. The identified documents are analyzed to determine those of the identified documents that are logically associated with the search category. Each of the documents determined to be logically associated with the search category are tagged with the search category.

  • Publication number: 20130166550
Abstract: Example systems and methods of integrating data tags with their associated object data are presented. In one implementation, a data object employed in a first computer application is accessed. Examples of the data object include, but are not limited to, structured data and unstructured data. Tagging data that is descriptive of the first data object is also accessed. The tagging data is stored in at least one of the first data object and a separate data object linked with the first data object. The tagging data and the first data object are processed using a second computer application.

  • Patent number: 8458189
Abstract: A system and method for establishing cross-relationships between objects is presented. A primary search is executed on a first object. A set of tagger identifiers is then determined based on the primary search. Each tagger identifier includes an internal instance key and one or more attributes of a match with the first object related to the primary search, and each tagger identifier of the set of tagger identifiers provides data for a secondary search. The secondary search is then executed on each of a secondary object that is tagged by the first object scanned by the primary search, the secondary search using the internal instance key and one or more attributes of the match with the first object.

  • Publication number: 20130138418
Abstract: A system and method for modeling cross system content between a hub and one or more backend systems is disclosed. Model content of one or more data models is stored in a model stack defined in a storage. The model content of each of the one or more data models includes model metadata representing a model of a corresponding backend system. Cross model content is stored in a cross model stack defined in the storage. The cross model content includes reference metadata representing one or more references associated with a data model of one backend system and that reference a data model of another backend system. Central cross model content is stored in a central cross model stack in the storage. The central cross model content includes one or more cross elements that do not belong to the model content of any of the one or more data models, and that establish a connection between two data models of different backend systems.

  • Patent number: 8352478
Abstract: Systems and techniques for providing a master data framework. The framework receives user input and automatically generates, in accordance with the input, a persistent definition of a business object type. The input can be simple declarations and need not be provided in any particular programming language. Definitions generated by the framework adhere to a same data model, regardless of the business object type they are defining. The framework allows the user to create a definition of a business object type by associating two or more definitions of other business object types. The framework provides services that can be applied, without further customization, to any definition of business object types generated by the framework. These services, for example, can be used by a calling application to instantiate business objects or to change a state of a business object instance.

  • Patent number: 8131694
Abstract: The present invention relates in general to a data object model for describing objects within systems. • Patent number: 8099431
Abstract: A directory includes information about various systems (e.g., applications, processes, tasks, objects, services) and data, and may include data ownership information. The directory may define existing systems, corresponding locations by address, and corresponding semantic names. The directory may also specify the role of each system, e.g., a consumer or provider role. The directory may also define a scope of data a provider system can provide. As such, the directory may also include information about whether and how such data is being replicated. When a user requests data, a service may, based on the directory, determine and select an appropriate provider system for the data. The service may further create a subscription process to provide the user a local cache of the requested data. With such directory information, a service can provide data access services that integrate subscription processes.

  • Patent number: 8010376
Abstract: A request is received to initiate an operation (e.g., a query, etc.) on a view on a business object type. Such a request contains data characterizing the view which in turn characterizes a plurality of hierarchically arranged elements. Such elements characterized are associated with elements characterized by one or more business objects types. Thereafter, the operation is performed on the elements of the two or more business objects types. Responsive results of the operation responsive are mapped to the elements of the virtual business object type. After such mapping occurs, a message is generated that contains the results of the request in a structure compatible with the view.

  • Publication number: 20110153582
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein that involve handling of classification data in a search engine, where classification applies to data models, where attributes differ among the instances of an object type, or where the definitions of an object type's attributes are subject to frequent change. The search engine enables free-style queries and complex queries using Boolean operators. Further, the search engine incorporates algorithms to handle properties of an object type instance provided in the search query as if they were attributes of the object type's index.

  • Patent number: 7853616
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, are provided for processing messages including structured data, such as objects and business objects. The method may include a receiver inhibiting processing of a first message including a first object referencing a second object, when the receiver of the first message does not include key mapping information for the second object. The receiver may then receive key mapping information determined for the second object, when a second message, received at the receiver, includes the second object without references to another dependent object. The mapping information may be representative of a location of the second object. The receiver may then automatically resume processing of the first message, when the key mapping information is received. Related apparatus, systems, methods, and articles are also described.
