  • Publication number: 20250271777
Abstract: In some implementations, a metrology optimization system may obtain three-dimensional (3D) model information associated with an object. The metrology optimization system may obtain optical sensor information associated with a metrology system that is to measure the object. The metrology optimization system may determine, based on the 3D model information and the optical sensor information, an initial configuration for the metrology system. The metrology optimization system may determine, based on the 3D model information, the optical sensor information, and the initial configuration, an optimal configuration for the metrology system. The metrology optimization system may provide the optimal configuration for the metrology system.

  • Publication number: 20250272862
Abstract: A metrology system may generate, using a first frequency, a first point cloud associated with a region of an object and may identify a particular distance measurement associated with a particular point of the first point cloud. The metrology system may generate, using a second frequency that is greater than the first frequency, a second point cloud associated with the region of the object. The metrology system may determine one or more relative depth measurements from the particular point of the first point cloud to one or more points of the second point cloud, respectively. The metrology system may thereby generate a third point cloud associated with the region of the object to include one or more points that correspond to the one or more points of the second point cloud and that indicate the one or more relative depth measurements, respectively.

  • Publication number: 20250253954
Abstract: An optical ranging system includes a coherent IQ receiver configured to receive a radio frequency (RF)-encoded optical signal, generate an in-phase (I) electrical signal and a quadrature (Q) electrical signal based on the RF-encoded optical signal; a first analog-to-digital converter (ADC) configured to convert the I electrical signal into an I digital signal; a second ADC configured to convert the Q electrical signal into a Q digital; and a processing circuit configured to generate a power signal having the target frequency by squaring the I digital signal and the Q digital signal, and summing a squared I digital signal and a squared Q digital signal. The processing circuit is configured to analyze the power signal to determine a signal phase corresponding to signal peaks associated with the target frequency, and determine a distance value based on a phase difference between the signal phase and a reference power signal.

  • Publication number: 20160221722
Abstract: An exemplary sealable storage bag for storing articles includes a bag wall defining a bag interior adapted to receive an article to be stored, and an opening arranged at a first end of the bag and communicating with the bag interior. A closure is arranged at the first end and is operable to substantially hermetically seal the opening. At least one air outlet valve is arranged in the bag wall and is operable to release air from the bag interior to an external environment. The air outlet valve has an open position for allowing air passage therethrough, and a closed position for blocking air passage therethrough. The bag wall is collapsible to facilitate compression of the bag into a compacted state for expelling air from the bag interior through the air outlet valve in the open position and when the opening is sealed by the closure.
