  • Patent number: 7633404
Abstract: A measurement indication method and an apparatus to indicate difference between a measured result taken by a medical measurement instrument and a normal digital value according to medical theory. The medical measurement instrument includes at least a measurement element, a power supply, at least one processing unit and the apparatus to implement the measurement indication method. The apparatus includes a plurality of indication lamps capable of emitting light of three or more colors. The number and lighting color of the indication lamps can be changed sequentially according to the difference of the measured digital value and a normal digital value range. Thereby users can easily determine the difference between the measured result and the normal value. And the measured value can be indicated in graphics.

  • Patent number: 6939306
Abstract: A method for measuring blood pressure and pulse rate with a pump-less mechanical compression apparatus, wherein the pump-less mechanical compression apparatus comprises a compression assembly with a closed system air bag having a fixed air volume fastened on the human body measuring site; a sensor coupled to the air bag for sensing pressure change inside the air bag; a processor for processing the pressure change; and a display. Through the use of the mechanical compression assembly, the pressure inside the air bag can be increased and steadily released to achieve the same measuring effects as traditional sphygmomanometer/sphygmometer. The apparatus invention also comprises a deactivation assembly and an alarm for safety purpose.

  • Patent number: 6794990
Abstract: An electronic patch thermometer consists of a measuring apparatus attaching to or disposing on a targeted object (such as human body skin or a tongue surface, indoor or outdoor, surfaces of a container, water tanks, and the likes) and a receiving apparatus for receiving signals measured by the measuring apparatus. When the receiving apparatus is moved nearby the measuring apparatus and a measuring switch located on the receiving apparatus is pressed, the receiving apparatus generates a magnetic field transmitting to the measuring apparatus to generate electric power required. The measuring apparatus measures and induces temperature signals of the targeted object and transmits the signals by radio waves to the receiving apparatus which reads and displays the temperature value of the targeted object.

  • Patent number: 6732731
Abstract: An improved medical mechanical compressor nebulizer for atomizing liquid inhalation dose to achieve therapeutic effect comprises a body, an air compression device located in the body, a safety switch which is serially connected to voltage is located at the surrounding of the air compression device and an atomization device connecting to the air compression device and an output device. The atomization device is precisely and securely fastened to the air compression device by a screwing mechanism, not only for connection of air passage, but also for forming a coupled air chamber which serves as a buffer to attain more stabilized ejecting air, reduce noise and achieve improved atomization effect. Also, the above screwing design can prevent unwarranted power consumption if the apparatus is inadvertently activated by the user.
