  • Publication number: 20040227011
Abstract: A disposable spray nozzle capable of accommodating liquid dose installed in a medical compressor nebulizer or connected to a device of other pressure sources, comprises a dose container and a spray nozzle; the dose container has a guide duct and an unsealing section connected to the guide duct disposed at the opening end of the guide duct. The spray nozzle is disposed on the guide duct of the dose container, and has a dose accommodating space in the dose container; a first opening section and a second opening section are disposed on both ends of the dose accommodating space and sealed respectively by a sealing section, such that the dose as well as the disposable spray nozzle can be inserted directly into the guide duct of the dose container. The unsealing section at the end of the guided duct pierces through the sealing section of the first and second opening sections of the spray nozzle, so that the liquid dose seeps out for the nebulizing operation.

  • Publication number: 20040225224
Abstract: An electronic sphygmomanometer, comprising a processor, a pressure sensor coupled to said processor, a cuff coupled to said pressure sensor, an inflating and quick releasing unit coupled to said cuff and a slow deflating device. The inflating and quick releasing unit has a driving element (motor), an inflating device, and a quick releasing device, and the driving element (motor) drives the inflating device in one direction to inflate air into the cuff and increase the pressure after receiving an inflating signal from the processor. The slow deflating device deflates the air in the cuff to adjust the pressure after the pressure reaches a predetermined setting. After the measurements are completed, the driving element (motor) instructs the quick releasing device in the inflating and quick releasing unit to rotate in the opposite direction to quickly discharge the air remaining in the cuff. Such arrangement constitutes an inflating and quick releasing device that can be inflated and quickly deflated.

  • Patent number: 6794990
Abstract: An electronic patch thermometer consists of a measuring apparatus attaching to or disposing on a targeted object (such as human body skin or a tongue surface, indoor or outdoor, surfaces of a container, water tanks, and the likes) and a receiving apparatus for receiving signals measured by the measuring apparatus. When the receiving apparatus is moved nearby the measuring apparatus and a measuring switch located on the receiving apparatus is pressed, the receiving apparatus generates a magnetic field transmitting to the measuring apparatus to generate electric power required. The measuring apparatus measures and induces temperature signals of the targeted object and transmits the signals by radio waves to the receiving apparatus which reads and displays the temperature value of the targeted object.

  • Publication number: 20040076220
Abstract: A method for identifying the classification of temperature detection components of the electronic thermometer that has a disposable temperature detection component and a main device for measuring and displaying temperature. To achieve measuring accuracy, the temperature detection component has a classification identification zone formed on a desired location. When the temperature detection component is coupled to the main device, the main device determines the classification attribute of a temperature detection element of the temperature detection component based on the indication of the classification identification zone, and through process software resided in the main device automatically calculates and displays the accurate temperature value.
