  • Patent number: 11732516
Abstract: An exemplary door closer includes a body, a regulation screw, and an indicator. The body includes a surface and a cavity extending from the surface into the body, and the cavity includes an internal threading. The regulation screw is mounted in the cavity and includes an external threading engaged with the internal threading. The indicator is engaged with the regulation screw and positioned at least partially within the cavity. The indicator is positioned to project beyond the surface when the regulation screw is withdrawn to a reference position relative to the body.

  • Publication number: 20210156170
Abstract: An exemplary exit device system includes a pushbar assembly and a control system. The pushbar assembly includes a latch having an extended position and a retracted position, a blocking member having a blocking position in which the blocking member retains the latch in the extended position and an unblocking position in which the blocking member permits the latch to move to the retracted position, a pushbar operable to move the blocking member between the blocking position and the unblocking position, and an electronic driver operable to move the blocking member between the blocking position and the unblocking position. The control system is configured to operate the electronic driver to electrically move the blocking member between the blocking position and the unblocking position based upon information received from a credential reader.

  • Patent number: 5411355
Abstract: A bed partition arrangement for a utility vehicle such as a pickup truck in which a flat panel has laterally opposed side edges and a bottom edge. A pair of latches are disposed at the respective side edges of the panel, with each latch including a latch bar for engagement with opposed longitudinally spaced openings in a pair of rails mounted along opposed sidewalls of the vehicle bed. The latch bars are urged by coil springs laterally outwardly of the panel for releasable locking engagement with openings in the side rails, and the latch bars are movable by handles inwardly against the springs for selective positioning of the panel lengthwise of the vehicle bed. Resilient feet are carried along the bottom edge of the panel for compressive frictional engagement with the floor of the vehicle bed when the panel is mounted between the side rails to hold the panel in position and prevent the panel from swinging about the axis of the latches.
