  • Patent number: 11953238
Abstract: A thermal reach enhanced geothermal wellbore has a plurality of fissures at a target location that distally extend into the formation and that are at least partially filled with a compacted high-thermal k material. The compacted high-thermal k material terminates on a proximal end of the fissure at the target location of the wellbore and is thermally coupled to a high-thermal conductivity grout or slurry through which heat is conducted to a working fluid that is contained in a closed loop working fluid conduit embedded in the grout or slurry.

  • Publication number: 20080197606
Abstract: A trailer hitch for automatically allowing a trailer to tilt for facilitating driving a vehicle on and off the trailer which comprises a hitch coupler having forward and rearward ends. The forward end of the hitch coupler is adapted for removable connection to a receiver hitch of a towing truck. A vertically oriented main support assembly is connected to the rearward end of the hitch coupler. A sliding mechanism is carried on the main support assembly, wherein the sliding mechanism can freely travel between a lower position and an upper position on the main support assembly. A hitching mechanism is attached to the sliding mechanism. The hitching mechanism is suited for coupling the trailer to the towing truck.

  • Publication number: 20080177372
Abstract: A stent suitable for maintaining the patency of a bodily lumen, generally comprising a tubular body configured to facilitate connection of a cover thereto. A stent assembly of the invention generally comprises a stent having cover connectors in contact with a cover to secure the cover to a surface of the stent. The invention also comprises methods of securing a cover to a stent. In a first embodiment, the cover connector on an expandable tubular body has a first section, a second section, and a third section between the first and second sections. The connector has an open configuration, and a closed configuration in which the first section has at least one bend and the second section has at least one bend, so that the first and second sections are bent together and are directed towards the third section therebetween.
