Abstract: An orally ingestible contraceptive composition for a pig or rodent is provided. The exemplary composition comprises 0.005 to 1.4 wt. % free gossypol and non-free-gossypol matter. The non-free-gossypol matter comprises a bulk feed component, a pig attractant, a flavored component, or any combination thereof. An assembly may include an orally ingestible contraceptive composition for a pig or rodent and a package. A system for delivering an orally ingestible contraceptive composition to a pig or rodent may include the composition and an apparatus configured to permit pigs or rodents to eat the composition and inhibit other animals from eating the composition. A method for delivering an orally ingestible contraceptive composition to a pig or rodent includes making the composition available to the pig.
