Abstract: Syringe carriers for medicament delivery devices are described where a medicament delivery device sub-assembly extending along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end is described having a tubular housing, a tubular syringe carrier inside the housing and a syringe inside the syringe carrier. The syringe includes a needle shield and a medicament container comprising a shoulder. The housing includes a flexible arm extending in the axial direction relative to the longitudinal axis, the flexible arm having an inwardly extending protrusion arranged in a gap between the shoulder and the needle shield. The syringe carrier has a proximal portion and a distal portion, and the proximal portion is arranged adjacent to the flexible arm of the housing so that movement of the flexible arm of the housing in a radial direction relative to the longitudinal axis is restricted by the proximal portion of the syringe carrier.

Abstract: This application describes syringe carriers for medicament delivery devices such as autoinjectors. In particular, an example syringe carrier is tubular and extends along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end, the syringe carrier comprising a base section at the distal end of the syringe carrier, the base section having a fixed circumference, at least one arm extending towards the proximal end of the syringe carrier from the base section, and an expandable ring attached to the proximal end of the at least one arm, wherein the ring extends entirely around the longitudinal axis of the syringe carrier in the circumferential direction. Various other syringe carriers and associated medicament delivery devices and methods are described.

Abstract: An automatic feedback mechanism for a medicament delivery device that notifies a user of a start of expulsion of medicament from a medicament container is presented where a plunger rod, a tubular extension member arranged to receive the plunger rod in the radial space, and wherein the tubular extension member has flexible tongues configured to releasably lock the plunger rod in a pre-tensioned state. The tubular operation member is arranged to receive the tubular extension member, where the tubular operation member in a first position is arranged to press the flexible tongues radially inwards to lock the plunger rod in the pre-tensioned state. A first resilient member is arranged inside the plunger rod to exert a force in the proximal direction. A signal generating member is arranged to partially surround the plunger rod such that movement of the signal generating member distally hits the inner distal surface generating an audible signal.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an activation system for a supplemental device that is attached to an existing design of a medicament delivery device, where the removal of a protective cap or other covering from the medicament delivery device pulls a blocking element from between electrical contacts to close a circuit between a battery module and a power source, thus activating the battery module. The supplemental device can further have a transmitter for communicating information about the use of the medicament delivery device to an external device, such as a smart device. Memory storage elements can also be included having unique identification data. The present disclosure also relates to a medicament delivery device having attached the supplemental device.
