Each handle subassembly comprises a handle body, opposed release buttons, and a biasing mechanism—such as a leaf spring—configured to urge the release buttons outward for tool-free engagement with corresponding recesses in the center bar. The handle body may include keyed features for orientation control and is optionally configured to receive weighted sleeves or end caps. The system enables rapid swapping of handle variants, secure retention under load, and ergonomic customization for different users and movement patterns.
