  • Publication number: 20230405511
Abstract: Some embodiments are directed to a system for extracting carbon dioxide from a fluid. The system can include a fluid source and a reactor. The reactor can include one or more chambers, and each chamber can include one or more monoliths for adsorbing carbon dioxide from the fluid. The chambers can be alternatively unsealed for a contacting mode and sealed for a regeneration mode. A power source can provide an electric current to the monoliths to release carbon dioxide adsorbed by the monoliths. Each chamber can include an array of monoliths. Each monolith can include a sorbent that adsorbs carbon dioxide from fluid. The system can include modular components such that the number of reactors can be increased or decreased.

  • Publication number: 20230036635
Abstract: A system, apparatus and methods are described for extracting carbon dioxide from air. The system may receive air blown over a contactor. The contactor can be coupled to a cooling tower. The contactor may comprise sorbent material to absorb carbon dioxide from the blown air. The sorbent material may be transported and placed into a regeneration reactor. The carbon dioxide in the sorbent material may be extracted via the regeneration reactor. The extracted carbon dioxide may be pressurized into and stored in a pressurized container.

  • Patent number: 10823541
Abstract: Provided herein are systems and methods for applying materials to articles or projectiles in order to coat at least a portion of the projectile. An embodiment of disclosure provides launching the a projectile into a stream of fluid. The fluid may be a molten metal, powder suspension or slip to be later sintered, molten polymer, monomers to be later polymerized or gaseous species that can locally react with the projectile to produce coatings such as oxides, nitrides, carbides, etc. The passage of the projectile through the fluid results in a coating on the projectile.
