  • Publication number: 20110174756
Abstract: Disclosed herein are flying beverage bottles having aerodynamic fins positioned to provide a stand to the bottle in a stable resting position having contact between the bottle body and the resting surface at the fins. The center of the bottle body bottom may not contact the resting surface. Fins may be positioned on opposing sides, in a circumference, or with rotational symmetry providing balance and permitting transport of the bottle through a track. The fins may be straight or angled with respect to the center of the bottle body. The bottle shape may be stackable, such that the fins of one bottles fits into said recess formed in another bottle. The lower portion of a bottle may be boat-tailed. Detailed information on various example embodiments of the inventions are provided in the Detailed Description below, and the inventions are defined by the appended claims.

  • Publication number: 20110168664
Abstract: Disclosed herein are beverage bottles having a bottle body including a narrowed portion, the narrowed portion dividing the volume of the bottle body between a first portion including fins and a second portion containing a majority of volume. Bottles may also include one or more of: fins that are molded in, attached individually or in a finned section; a base section adapting a finned bottle for transport in a track or conveyor of bottling machinery; aerodynamic noses and nosecones, attachable to the neck or bottom of a bottle or other location, optionally holding an object, prize or additive, also optionally acting as a stand; a production sleeve permitting transport through a track or conveyor; and noses, fins and finned sections that are reversible. Detailed information on various example embodiments of the inventions are provided in the Detailed Description below, and the inventions are defined by the appended claims.

  • Publication number: 20110168663
Abstract: Disclosed herein are aerodynamic beverage bottles having fins incorporated within the wall of a bottle body providing for aerodynamic guidance in a direction defined by a vector passing through the neck, each of the fins defining a plane passing through the substantial center of each fin, the defining vector being non-positionable within any of the planes of defined by each fin. Those bottles may incorporate a base section adapted for transport in a track or conveyor of bottling machinery; aerodynamic noses and nosecones, attachable to the neck or bottom of a bottle or other location, optionally holding an object, prize or additive, and a production sleeve permitting transport through a track or conveyor. Detailed information on various example embodiments of the inventions are provided in the Detailed Description below, and the inventions are defined by the appended claims.

  • Publication number: 20110168658
Abstract: Disclosed herein are beverage bottles having fins incorporated within the wall of a bottle body providing for aerodynamic guidance in a direction defined by a vector passing through the neck, each of the fins defining a plane passing through the substantial center of each fin, the defining vector locatable within each of the planes of each fin such that the intersection of each of the planes and the defining vector is a line. • Publication number: 20100257173
Abstract: Recurring components found in Chinese-type characters can be identified and classified by stroke count and free-endpoint count according to embodiments of the present invention. The bidirectional many-to-many relationships between characters and their components can be identified and recorded in electronic or non-electronic format and the recurring components can be ordered and retrieved according to stroke-endpoint value pair. In accordance with an embodiment, bidirectional many-to-many relationships between simple and composite components can be identified and recorded in an electronic or non-electronic format. An embodiment can provide a classification/retrieval method and apparatus for rapid search and retrieval of Chinese-type characters and their components based on stroke-endpoint value pairs and relationships between components and characters.

  • Publication number: 20050284951
Abstract: A portable, battery-powered sprayer for dispensing two liquid products at the same time. A reservoir cartridge having two liquid chambers is removably installable in a reciprocating bay in the housing. First and second mating pairs of fluid connectors each have a component mounted on the cartridge and a component mounted in the housing. A cam on a pivotable lever causes the bay to move the fluid connector components into and out of engagement. The fluid connector components permit fluid flow when they are joined and prevent it when they are separated. A support beam locks the housing components of the fluid connectors in fixed relation to one another. A guide strip locks the cartridge components in the same fixed relation to one another. A docking station in the bay locates the guide strip.

  • Publication number: 20050284958
Abstract: A portable, battery-powered sprayer for dispensing two liquid products at the same time includes first and second nozzles which receive first and second liquids and first and second air supplies. The nozzles are arranged to dispense the liquids at different flow rates, with different droplet sizes, and into different target zones. A low battery sensor prevents operation when the batteries have insufficient power to produce the intended flow rates and droplet sizes.
