Abstract: Computing devices and methods for issuing an electronic receipt. Transaction information may be received and sent to a transfer rail. A unique transaction identifier can be generated using a hash function applied to the transaction information, and/or using the date information and time information, and/or a unique device identifier. A uniform resource locator (URL) can be generated based on the unique transaction identifier and/or at least some of a plurality of receipt elements. A confirmation of a successful completion of a transfer card transaction may be received from the transfer rail. The URL can be sent to an NFC tag controller.
