Abstract: According to various aspects, a gesture recognition system is provided. The gesture recognition system includes a memory storing finger identification information identifying a plurality of fingers of a user and command information associating a command with a finger and action pair, at least one processor coupled to the memory, and a gesture recognition component executable by the at least one processor. The gesture recognition component is configured to receive gesture information from a touch screen including a fingerprint and action information, identify a finger of the plurality of fingers of the user based on the fingerprint and the finger identification information, identify an action performed based on the action information, match the action and the finger with the finger and action pair stored in the memory, and perform the command associated with the finger and action pair.
