  • Publication number: 20240065109
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a magnetic field sensor chip with an integrated back-bias magnet is described. A substrate with a first substrate surface and an opposite second substrate surface is provided, wherein at least one magnetic field sensor is arranged in a first substrate surface. A cavity is structured into the second substrate surface. The method involves generating the integrated back-bias magnet within the first cavity by introducing loose powder comprising a magnetic material into the first cavity and agglomerating the powder to a mechanically firm magnetic body structure by means of atomic layer deposition. According to the method, the step of generating the back-bias magnet is carried out temporally after the step of arranging the magnetic field sensor.

  • Publication number: 20230090679
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus as well as a method for calibrating a magnetic sensor system including at least one magnetic field source and one magnetic field sensor arrangement with several individual magnetic field sensors. Here, a plurality of individual measurements is performed, wherein each individual measurement provides a number of measurement values depending on the number of the individual magnetic field sensors. The magnetic field of the magnetic field source is varied at the location of the magnetic field sensor arrangement between two successive individual measurements. Based on the measurement values and by applying an optimization or estimation method, one or several magnetic field sensor-specific parameters and/or magnetic field source-specific parameters are determined, which are used as correction values for calibrating the magnetic sensor system. According to the invention, a magnetic field source is used that generates an inhomogeneous magnetic field.

  • Publication number: 20220212556
Abstract: A method is disclosed for determining a relative pose between a primary winding structure and a secondary winding structure of a system for inductive power transfer to a vehicle. The method includes obtaining first output values generated by multiple receiving devices of a first radio direction finding system. The first radio direction finding system further includes a transmitting device. The receiving devices generate the output values in response to receiving a position signal transmitted by the transmitting device. The method includes determining a motion value of the vehicle. The method includes providing the obtained first output values and the motion value as input values to a model. The method includes determining a first relative pose based on the model. The method includes determining the relative pose based on the first relative pose.
