    Abstract: Optical system intended to enlarge images, such as those produced by a television set. For this purpose is used an optical system such as an assembly including at least one thick lens (12) or its equivalent (for example a Fresnel lens), placed very close to the image (10) to be enlarged, that allows an enlarged image to be obtained, with the possibility for the observer (13) to move throughout a sufficiently wide zone while still observing an image without troublesome deformation.
