  • Publication number: 20240303890
Abstract: An image augmentation system and method for simulating the application of a coating to a surface of an original image. A mask generator can perform a search to detect a recognized object depicted in the original image, and generate a object mask for the recognized object. A user interface can to receive an identification of a selected object and an identification of a selected coating to be simulated on the selected object, and display a painted image. A renderer can receive the object mask for the selected object and the selected coating and generate the painted image, each pixel of the painted image having a painted color determined based on the object mask, the coating, and the original image.

  • Publication number: 20240283049
Abstract: In embodiments, a battery system includes battery cell modules. Each battery cell module has a positive lead and a negative lead. The battery system includes a bus bar disposed to be in electrical communication with a positive lead of a first battery cell module and a negative lead of a second battery cell. The bus bar includes heat exchange members in thermal communication with a surrounding working fluid. Each heat exchange member's first dimension is a distance between the positive lead and the negative lead and second dimension is a distance from a bottom of a heat exchange member the plurality of heat exchange members in contact with the positive and negative leads to a top of the heat exchange member. The thermal communication with the working fluid occurs over the length of the first dimension. A ratio of the first dimension to the second dimension is at least 2:5.

  • Publication number: 20220237832
Abstract: A coating product selection system and method. Recognized objects in an input image can be used to determine one or more dominant colors for determining recommended coating products. An image augmentation system and method for simulating the application of a coating to a surface of the image in a scene. A scene record can store data records related to visualization of a scene such that multiple scene visualization clients can present painted images augmented based on assigned coatings.

  • Publication number: 20140310981
Abstract: In accordance with one implementation, a sole construction for biomechanical stability and afferent feedback includes a cushioning and support layer that cushions and supports a foot and an afferent feedback biomechanical support plate positioned between the cushioning and support layer and the user's foot. The afferent feedback biomechanical support plate may be positioned within a forefoot, midfoot, and/or heel area of the sole construction and may provide improved afferent feedback to the foot during a contact and stance phase of the gait cycle.

  • Publication number: 20120043468
Abstract: Composite photodetection devices are described comprising layers with different photodetector embodiments, in connection through vias in bonded layers with electronic circuitry upon them. Standard photodetectors with isolation structures are defined as well as photodetectors with the capability for avalanche operation. Still further embodiments with micropixel embodiments comprising silicon photomultipliers are also described. Embodiments with incorporated transistors are also defined. Methods of using the attached electronics associated with each pixel element to define novel operational set points for the composite photodetector devices are also described.
