  • Publication number: 20250354489
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are described for excavating earthen material with millimeter-wave (MMW) radiation or a combination of MMW radiation and mechanical apparatus. The MMW radiation can reduce costs and hazards associated with excavation using mechanical means only and/or explosives. • Publication number: 20240396629
Abstract: A method is presented for supporting SNCP over a packet network connecting to two SDH sub-networks and transporting one or more SDH paths that are SNCP-protected in both SDH sub-networks. The packet network connects to each of two sub-network interconnection points by a working path and a protection path. The packet sub-network may provide the same type of path protection as an SDH sub-network using SNCP, while avoiding bandwidth duplication.

  • Patent number: 12133256
Abstract: A component of a wireless communication device configured for any of a plurality of transmission bandwidths. The component includes at least one processor; and a non-transitory processor-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to: monitor a Clear Channel Assessment (CCA) factor or a Request-to-Send (RTS) factor for each of the transmission bandwidths, wherein the CCA factor is a throughput impact estimate based on any CCA transmission deferrals, and the RTS factor is a throughput impact estimate based on any transmission deferrals due to unanswered RTS messages; and dynamically select, based on the CCA factor or the RTS factor, one of the transmission bandwidths that increases a throughput of the wireless communication device.

  • Patent number: 12021554
Abstract: Techniques for mitigating interference between coexisting Bluetooth baseband processing circuitry and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) baseband processing circuitry are disclosed. In some implementations, an oscillator control circuit may determine a first operating frequency associated with the WLAN baseband processing circuitry. The oscillator control circuit may determine a second operating frequency associated with the Bluetooth baseband processing circuitry. The oscillator control circuit may detect overlap between the first operating frequency and the second operating frequency. The oscillator control circuit may adjust an oscillator sideband for an oscillator of the Bluetooth baseband processing circuitry based on the detected overlap to mitigate interference between signals generated by the oscillator of the Bluetooth baseband processing circuitry and the first operating frequency associated with the WLAN baseband processing circuitry.
