  • Publication number: 20250050984
Abstract: An isolation method, and apparatus, for isolating and temporarily sealing closed an opening of a marine vessel to prevent ingress of fluid into or through the opening, sealing an internal side of the opening from an external side of the opening. A positioning line is provided between a connection point and the sealing apparatus, with the positioning line being tensioned to pull the sealing apparatus towards the opening. The method is performed entirely diverlessly, with no personnel required in or under the water at any stage of the method, including during connecting the positioning line to the connection point and pulling the sealing apparatus onto and/or into the opening.

  • Patent number: 12078469
Abstract: Method of inspecting a vessel including obtaining a first data set (14, 114) associated with a first surface (340) of at least a portion of the vessel. The first data set (14, 114) is obtained with laser scanning A model or simulation (12, 112, 212, 312) indicative of the first surface (340) is generated in dependence on the obtained first data set (14, 114). A property of the portion of the vessel is determined in dependence on the generated model or simulation (12, 112, 212, 312).

  • Patent number: 12038394
Abstract: Method of inspecting hazardous area equipment (10, 110, 210). The method is a non-invasive inspection of an electrical or electronic component of the hazardous area equipment (10, 110, 210). The non-invasive inspection includes a radiographic inspection of the equipment (10, 110, 210).

  • Publication number: 20210123569
Abstract: Method of inspecting at least a portion (10) of a pressure system. The method comprises analysing data to predict a property of the portion of the pressure system. The predicted property (12) is predicted for a particular use parameter. The method comprises determining an amount of data to collect at a next inspection of the portion (10) of the pressure system.

  • Patent number: 10871455
Abstract: A method of inspecting the inside of a vessel. The method includes the step of obtaining a visual image of the inside of the vessel using a camera. The method includes using a first three-dimensional scanner to obtain a low-resolution image of one or more surfaces of the inside of the vessel; and using a second three-dimensional scanner to obtain a high-resolution image of one or more objects inside of the vessel.
