  • Publication number: 20260130661
Abstract: Tissue anchors and assemblies are described for securing a suture thread in a tissue approximation procedure. The suture thread is provided with a plurality of protrusions arranged along a length of the suture thread. The tissue anchor includes an anchor body having an elongate shape, a passageway for the suture thread through the anchor body. A pawl is adjacent to an outlet of the passageway and configured to engage with the plurality of protrusions so as to prevent movement of the suture thread in a first direction from the outlet inwards into the anchor body. The pawl includes a pawl body pivotally coupled to the anchor body and the anchor body comprises a seat for the pawl body, such that a force exerted by one of the plurality of protrusions on the pawl body in the first direction pivots the pawl body to abut on the seat.

  • Patent number: 12546619
Abstract: In a first aspect of the invention, it is claimed a computer-implemented method for assisting the movement of a visually impaired user by means of a wearable device 1, comprising the following steps: S1—Acquiring data from the environment of the visually impaired user S2—Fusing the acquired data, creating, repeatedly updating of a Live Map S3—Determining, repeatedly updating and storing, of at least one navigation path together with associated navigation guiding instructions for the visually impaired user to navigate from the current position of the visually impaired user to a point of interest, repeatedly selecting one preferred navigation path from the at least one navigation path, and repeatedly sending to the visually impaired user the preferred navigation path, together with associated navigation guiding instructions.
