  • Patent number: 9390621
Abstract: A system and method for measuring a real traffic flow of an area use images of vehicles and pedestrians taken from the sky in time intervals of an area. The system and method also use continuous tracking data for vehicles and pedestrians, provided by navigator manufacturers, map providers, route applications or by phone carriers. Both images and continuous tracking data are combined and processed by a processor that applies image pattern recognition software to the images so that each vehicle and pedestrian in the images is recognized and labeled for which tracking data is available. The system identifies vehicles and pedestrians contained in both databases and applies a weight to thereto. Accordingly, the system and method are able to estimate the traffic flow and the total number of vehicles and pedestrians for a particular time and area.

It also uses continuous tracking data for vehicles and pedestrians, provided by navigator manufacturers, map providers, route applications or by phone carriers. Both, images and continuous tracking data, are combined and processed by a processor that applies an image pattern recognition software to the images so that each vehicle and pedestrian comprised in the images is recognized and labeled for which a tracking data is available. The system identifies those vehicles and pedestrians contained in both databases and apply a weight to them. Then, the system is able to estimate the flow and the total number of vehicles and pedestrians for a particular time and area. Additionally, the system is able to calculate a pattern and a profile for each vehicle or pedestrian based on the continuous tracking data.

  • Patent number: 8537145
Abstract: According to the invention, the system automatically locates effective visibility zones from which an element to be viewed is visible. For this purpose, for this purpose, the inventive system makes use of the location of potential visibility zones (obtained from data such as sitting, morphology and orientation of the element to be viewed, potential visibility distance assigned to said element, etc.) and the morphology of the region in which the effective visibility zones are to be located. Said system avails of means of appraising the degree of visibility of different visibility zones according to the level of compliance achieved in relation to the criteria for locating visibility zones.

  • Patent number: 8468581
Abstract: A specific method is provided for recording, management and confidential distribution of meetings by means of multiple electronic devices, fitted with at least one microphone, mainly a mobile phone, an electronic agenda, or laptop. The method includes recording the meeting, sending this recorded data to the remote server, audio track synchronization, selecting optimum track sections to produce an optimum final track, store this ciphered, coded track in the database, and, finally, publish this track in a confidential manner.

  • Publication number: 20080077460
Abstract: The invention relates to an iterative process which can be used for the optimal selection of various different groups of advertising media (known as circuits) with different types of criteria, such as criteria relating to audience, target market, cost, geographical proximity to points of interest and geographical spacing between points, in order to provide an effective outdoor advertising campaign. Among the jargon used in the field of advertising, the term outdoor includes all advertising outside of the home and in the street, such as billboards, awnings, telephone booths, banners for buildings, hoardings, columns, information stands, street furniture, buses, etc. In this way, the circuit comprises a group of advertising media with identical or similar advertising objectives.
