Abstract: The invention relates to a rotating shaking device comprising a mixing element operating according to the principle of a static mixer. The inventive mixing element is radially fixed on a hollow axle (1, 2) and has a cavity filled by a lining. Said cavity communicates with the interior space of the hollow axle and the fluid medium to be shaken. The invention also relates to a shaking method for which said device is used.

Abstract: A composite material comprising a substrate which is not or very slightly excitable by microwaves and a coating on at least a portion of said substrate based on polymeric composition containing at least 50% by weight of a polymer excitable by microwaves, wherein the melting point of the substrate is lower than the film-formation temperature of the polymeric composition and the process of making such composite.

Abstract: Block copolyetheramides, well adopted for conversion into a wide variety of useful thermoplastic elastomer shaped articles, have the formula: ##STR1## in which D is the residue of a diacid oligamide having an Mn ranging from 300 to 3,000 and/or the residue of the diacid chain limiter, PE is the residue of a polyetherdiol having an Mn ranging from 200 to 5,000,.times.is a straight or branched chain (cyclo)aliphatic or aromatic hydrocarbon having from 4 to 20 carbon atoms, n is a number ranging from 1 to 4, and m is an average number ranging from 2 to 50; these are prepared by polycondensing a multiblock polymer having the formula: ##STR2## with a diamine H.sub.2 N--X--NH.sub.2.

Abstract: Polyester amides and polyether thioether ester amides of the formula ##STR1## wherein A is a polyamide sequence,R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 can be the same or different and each represents a linear or branched C.sub.2 to C.sub.98 alkyl radical,m is an integer between 1 and 50, andn is one or greater; and the process of making such amides by reacting specific diols with a dicarboxylic polyamide having terminal acid functional groups.

Abstract: Novel polyesteramides and polyetheresteramides are provided which have the formula: ##STR1## wherein A represents a divalent polyamide group,R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 represent hydrogen, or only one of R.sub.3, or R.sub.4 is an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 24 carbon atoms,R.sub.1 is a linear or branched, alkyl radical, or an unsaturated radical containing from 1 to 24 carbon atoms or an aromatic or cycloaliphatic radical,y+z has a value between 2 and 100,n represents a number such that the recurring units constitute a macro molecular chain. These products are obtained by polycondensation of a dicarboxylic polyamide with .alpha., .omega. diol which is a hydroxylated beta-tertiary amine or a polyoxyalkyleneglycol containing in the chain one tertiary amine function.
