  • Publication number: 20230015993
Abstract: A sprinkler assembly for a flowable product container includes a sprinkler base and a sprinkler disk rotatably coupled to the sprinkler base. The sprinkler base includes a tongue defined in a base plate by a shear area and a tongue hinge, with the tongue extending upward when the shear area is unbroken, and partially detached and rotatable to an open position when force is applied to break the shear area. The sprinkler disk has a pour aperture with a complimentary shape to the tongue so that the tongue extends through the pour aperture to prevent rotation of the sprinkler disk when the shear area is unbroken and not tampered with, and rotates downward when the shear area is broken to allow the rotation of the sprinkler disk. The sprinkler assembly may be fabricated from materials such as polyethylene and polyurethane.

  • Patent number: 10391688
Abstract: A method is proposed for transferring a bottom label and a wraparound label into an injection mould for producing an injection-moulded part provided with the labels, in that the bottom label is arranged on the end side and the wraparound label on the lateral side of an insert die and the insert die equipped with the two labels is introduced into the mould cavity of the moulding tool, after which the bottom label is deposited on the bottom and the wraparound label on the lateral surface of the mould cavity of the moulding tool, in order to back-mould them with a plastics material injected into the mould cavity.

  • Patent number: 8409489
Abstract: An insertion plunger for inserting at least one wrap-around label and at least one bottom label into an injection mold for producing a plastic container has an outer plunger and an inner plunger that is movable relative to the outer plunger. In a method for insertion of a wrap-around label and a bottom label into an injection mold, the labels are inserted by an insertion plunger in that the wrap-around label and the bottom label are inserted in a single stroke performed by the insertion plunger into the injection mold.
