  • Patent number: 11961974
Abstract: A battery cell capable of self-priming with molten metal produced within the battery cell includes a cathode compartment configured to contain a catholyte that releases metal ions, an anode compartment at least partially containing an anode current collector that receives electrons from an external power supply, an ion-selective membrane positioned between the cathode compartment and the anode compartment and configured to selectively transport the metal ions from the cathode compartment to the anode compartment when self-priming the battery cell, and an electron transport structure extending between the anode current collector and the ion-selective membrane within the anode compartment and configured to transport the electrons from the anode current collector to the ion-selective membrane when self-priming the battery cell.

  • Patent number: 11951433
Abstract: Air cleaner assemblies, related methods, components therefor, and features thereof are described. In depicted examples, the air cleaner assemblies and components optionally use advantageous housing seal features. In some examples, a filter cartridge for an air cleaner includes a media pack extending along a longitudinal axis between opposite inlet and outlet flow ends and defining an outer perimeter with opposite straight sides and a first curved end. The filter cartridge can include a seal arrangement circumscribing the media pack outer perimeter, wherein a portion of the seal arrangement extends beyond a first plane defined by the media pack outlet flow end and a portion of the seal arrangement is disposed between the first plane and a second plane defined by the media pack inlet flow end, wherein the seal arrangement is aligned along a third plane disposed at an oblique angle to the first and second planes.

  • Publication number: 20240112554
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are directed to security systems for securing an item of merchandise from theft or unauthorized removal. For example, the security system may include a sensor configured to be coupled to the item of merchandise, wherein the sensor includes an electrical connector. The security system also includes a base configured to removably support the sensor thereon, wherein the base includes an electronics module having a connector. The connector of the sensor and the connector of the electronics module are configured to electrically connect with one another when the sensor is supported on the base, and the sensor is configured to detect unauthorized removal of the item of merchandise from the sensor.

  • Patent number: 11046044
Abstract: The present invention discloses a marine vessel with a monohedral v-shaped hull bow portion blending into catamaran hull sponsons, a center tunnel and individual terminal tunnels on each of the sponsons. This new hull design is capable of high speeds to travel to a desired location, while still providing platform stability and shallow draft of the catamaran shaped aft portion. A removable hull transom diffuser gate and a removable side hull deflector plate may be retracted and/or lowered to reduce the signature of the vessel underway. A retractable cockpit may be included to permit stacking of the marine vessels in order to allow multiple vessels to simultaneously be shipped in a C-130 or C-17 cargo plane to a distant location. This retractable cockpit may include a multi-positional pilot house which can be elevated for rough sea conditions with hinged windshield and side plates for protection from waves for the operators.

  • Patent number: 5246392
Abstract: A stern drive system includes a jet nozzle that is pivoted with respect to a mounting bracket and is steered by two hydraulic cylinders. An anti-rotation brace includes a rod pivotably mounted to the bracket and a sleeve pivotably mounted to the jet nozzle. The rod, the sleeve and the pivot mounts are constructed such that the antirotation brace prevents the jet nozzle from rotating about the longitudinal axis of the stern drive system, thereby allowing a modular, compact stern drive which provides advantages in terms of reduced manufacturing cost, reduced maintenance cost, and increased ease of installation.
