    Abstract: A garden tiller is disclosed herein. The garden tiller includes at least one handle portion configured to be grasped by a user; a shaft portion coupled to the at least one handle portion, the shaft portion having a first end and a second end, the second end of the shaft portion being oppositely disposed relative to the first end; and a body portion coupled to the second end of the shaft portion, the body portion including an impact motor configured to drive one or more cultivating teeth for loosening and/or displacing soil, the impact motor configured to apply an impact torque to the one or more cultivating teeth so as to more effectively break up compacted soil.
