  • Publication number: 20080206074
Abstract: Compressor, especially an axial piston compressor for a vehicle air-conditioning system, having a housing delimiting a drive mechanism chamber (17), having a cylinder block in which at least one piston is mounted so as to be axially displaceable back and forth, and having a cylinder head having a suction side and a delivery side, there being provided between the drive mechanism chamber (17) and the suction side (18) a fluid connection (12, 13) in which there is arranged a regulating valve (10) by means of which, starting from a predetermined pressure difference between the drive mechanism chamber (17) and the suction side (18), the fluid connection between the drive mechanism chamber and the suction side is increasingly throttled as the pressure difference further increases, in order that the mass flow flowing out is thereby maintained at an approximately constant low initial level.

  • Publication number: 20080011266
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for transmitting a torque, in particular a pulley connected to an internal combustion engine for transmitting a torque from the internal combustion engine to an accessory, a rotor (10) being rotatably connected with a bearing part (20) of a bearing. According to the invention, the rotor (10) and a circumferential surface (21) of the bearing are at least partially connected via an adhesive bond (25). The invention also relates to a method for producing the device.

  • Publication number: 20070179000
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device (2) for transmitting torque from a pulley (6) to a hub (10) of an assembly to be driven, in particular a compressor (4), e.g., an air conditioning compressor of a motor vehicle, with a vibration-damping element (12) located between the pulley (6) and the hub (10). It is provided that the vibration-damping element (12) is rigidly connected at its inner circumference with the hub (10) and is engaged at its outer circumference with the pulley (6).

  • Patent number: 6981545
Abstract: A heating exchanger (10) between a cooling conduit and an exhaust-gas line of an internal combustion engine includes a coolant inflow (26) and a coolant return (28) for coolant ducts (14), as well as an exhaust-gas inlet (30) and an exhaust-gas outlet (32) for exhaust-air ducts (36). The heat exchanger is arranged in a main exhaust-gas flow (34), and a shutoff device is provided in the coolant inflow (26).

  • Patent number: 6878092
Abstract: A drive arrangement for at least one auxiliary system of a motor vehicle, having an internal combustion engine, at least one supplementary motor, and a gear, is provided. The gear is a planetary gear which is operatively connected to the engine and the at least one supplementary motor each via a respective input shaft, and to the auxiliary system via an output shaft.

  • Publication number: 20030140961
Abstract: Device for generating power and providing shade in motor vehicles. A solar cell (1) having a reflective back surface layer is attached to a suitable body part (2) of a motor vehicle. An insulating and inner lining layer (3) is provided beneath the body part, which may be, for example, the body sheet of the roof of a vehicle. The solar cell mainly includes a supporting layer (11), a reflective layer (12) on the back of an active photovoltaic layer (13) and a protective layer (14) that covers the latter in an upward direction, i.e., toward the outside, in the direction of the incident radiation. The incident radiation, sunlight or daylight, is represented by the row of arrows (4), and the radiation reflected at the boundary between the photovoltaic layer and the reflective layer is represented by the two arrows (5).
