    Abstract: A collaboration session is provided in which an owner computer system and a participant computer system are both members. Within this session, the collaborators are provided access to a multi-file workspace that is stored locally on the owner computer system. Initially, a set of development tools are identified. These tools are hosted by the owner computer system and are able to operate on the workspace's files. After the tools are identified, they are made accessible to the participant computer system. Later, a request is received from the participant computer system. In some instances, the request is directed to a particular file within the multi-file workspace and is generated using one of the development tools. In this manner, the collaboration session enables the owner computer system's development tools to become accessible to the participant computer system.

    Abstract: A crossbar switch comprises two or more data inputs 10, two or more data outputs 100, a buffer 30 between the inputs and the outputs, an arbiter 52 associated with each output and configured to select data from one of the inputs when there is contention at the output, a bypass 32 associated with the buffer so that the buffer can be enabled or disabled, and a buffer controller 60 configured to enable or disable the buffer. The buffer controller further includes an accumulator 70 configured to assess whether a time-based average of the contention rate, or an average injection rate, at the output associated with the buffer, has reached a predetermined threshold. This prevents the buffer being enabled when the contention is only intermittent, which reduces power consumption without significant loss of performance.

The valve includes a flow control structure disposed in the primary gas flowpath and an actuation structure extending to a location radially outside of a casing defining the primary gas flowpath.

The seismic streamer is connected to the vessel by a front-end and a damper is coupled to the front-end. A vibration on the front-end is detected and a damper response to the detected vibration on the front-end is then determined. The damper is actively adjusted based on the damper response. The active adjustment dampens vibrations in an axial direction along a lead-in of the front-end and/or vibrations in a direction transverse to an axial direction of the lead-in.

    Abstract: Techniques are provided for image segmentation based on image differencing, using recursive neural networks. A methodology implementing the techniques according to an embodiment includes quantizing pixels of a first image frame, performing a rigid translation of the quantized first image frame to generate a second image frame, and performing a differencing operation between the quantized first image frame and the second image frame to generate a sparse image frame. A neural network can then be applied to the sparse image frame to generate a segmented image. In still another embodiment, the methodology is applied to a sequence or set of image frames, for example from a video or still camera, and pixels from a first and second image frame of the sequence/set are quantized. The sparse image frame is generated from a difference between quantized image frames. The method further includes training the neural network on sparse training image frames.
