  • Patent number: 11956512
Abstract: A client computing device (115) determines a desired adjustment to a transmission rate of a media stream (245) received from the content server device (110), and encodes the desired adjustment to the transmission rate in an object ordering priority (255) field of a request (250) for a media portion (215). The client computing device (115) sends the request (250) to the content server device (110) to adjust the transmission rate of the media stream (245) with respect to the media portion (215). The content server device (110) receives the request (25) for the media portion (215) from the client computing device (115), and adjusts the transmission rate of the media stream (245) based on the object ordering priority (255). The content server device (110) transmits the media portion (215) to the client computing device (115) via the media stream (245) at the adjusted transmission rate.

  • Patent number: 11311145
Abstract: A cooking appliance having a broiler may include a housing defining an upper compartment above the broiler and a rear compartment behind the broiler. A gas mixing pipe extends through the upper compartment to the rear compartment via an opening in an interior wall of the housing. A cover is removably coupled to an outer surface of the interior wall, such that opposing U-shaped slots of the two cover portions collectively form an aperture that conforms to an outer periphery of the gas mixing pipe. Accordingly, the cover blocks one or more gaps in the interior wall, such that the cover is configured to prevent gases from passing into the rear compartment through the gaps.

  • Publication number: 20200340675
Abstract: Improvements for a gas burner bar are provided utilizing reduced parts, easier assembly, and greater reliability. In one or more implementations a portion of an air shutter is disposed between two parts of an injector assembly: an injector and an injector fitting. Assembly in this manner results in proper alignment of the injector assembly thus negating problems that arise with misalignment.

  • Patent number: 10527226
Abstract: Techniques are provided for constructing an adjustable kick panel assembly that is removable, adjustable, and attachable without the use of a tool. In one or more implementations, a bracket having a clip is inserted into a slot on a kick panel, and then twisted to secure the bracket to the kick panel. The bracket allows for height adjustment of the kick panel without a tool. The complete kick panel assembly is then attached to the base of an appliance by inserting the clip into a housing on the base.

  • Publication number: 20140342354
Abstract: The present disclosure provides for compositions and methods for the testing and analysis of genetic alterations of a sample comprising maternal and fetal polynucleotides. Generally, the composition and methods of this disclosure provide for the isolation of a mixture of maternal and fetal polynucleotides from a sample, generally from the mother. Polynucleotides are isolated and purified and further tested to determine the presence or absence of genetic alterations, such as copy number variation, or causal variants at one or more loci in the sample.

  • Publication number: 20060254099
Abstract: One embodiment of the invention discloses a method for animating an advertising device. The method comprising multiple steps such as providing a track system and a tower that is operatively coupled to the track. The tower can comprise one or more substantially transparent sections. The method further comprises providing a base support system that is operatively coupled to the tower. The base can be operatively coupled to a facade with one or more substantially non-transparent sections. The method further includes providing a vehicle system comprising a passenger-carrying vehicle that is operatively coupled to the track. Finally, the method includes animating the advertising device by transporting the vehicle between the substantially transparent section of the tower and the substantially non-transparent section of the facade. The vehicle movement can, for example, simulate fluid movement between the tower and the facade.
