    Abstract: A system for treating various environments having microorganisms is provided. The inventive system comprises a gas distributor, a steam source independently connected to the gas distributor, and an ozone/oxygen source independently connected to the gas distributor, wherein a steam component is generated by the steam source and independently conveyed to the gas distributor, and an ozone/oxygen mixture is generated by the ozone/oxygen source and independently conveyed to the gas distributor, whereby the steam component and the ozone/oxygen mixture are independently distributed to treatment areas and are only mixed at the point of application.
