Patents by Inventor Daniel Dieterich

Daniel Dieterich has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Patent number: 9969027
Abstract: With a roller head (10) of a resistance seam welding machine, which roller head has a stator (12) and a rotor (14), the bearing outer housing (18, 18?) is cooled by means of channels (2, 2?) provided in its interior. This increases the life of the roller head.

    Assignee: Soundronic AG
    Inventor: Daniel Dieterich
  • Publication number: 20150367440
Abstract: The invention relates to the roll seam welding of container frames wherein a first welding procedure is carried out using welding rolls (10, 11) and subsequently the welded frame is fed to a second welding procedure using welding rolls (20, 21). The welding force of the second welding procedure is adjusted in accordance with a welding parameter for welding quality that has been determined during the first welding procedure. In this manner even sheet metals that are difficult to weld can be welded with better welding quality and the welding quality can be improved.

  • Patent number: 8573013
Abstract: During the bending of sheet metal sections (1, 2) in particular for forming can edges using a bending machine, the sheet metal is pre-treated at a flexing station (50) before reaching the bending station. The contact position (x, y, y?) of a sheet on a measuring plate (38) is measured and the signal representing the contact position is reproduced on a display (25), enabling the operator to adjust at least one element (7, 8, 9, 20) of the flexing station in accordance with the deviation of the actual contact position from the target contact position, either manually or by means of a drive. The signal can also be used to automatically adjust at least one element of the flexing station.

  • Patent number: 8530776
Abstract: Thus a lifter table de-stacker 1 is provided comprising a lifter table 3 with a stack 10 holding device 4 above the lifter table. The holding unit positions the stack by motorized guiding elements 14 and 15. A de-stacking unit and in particular a suction unit is provided which can be adjusted in its position above the stack 10 by a motor as well. The lifter table de-stacker with the motorized adjustability of the guiding elements and the de-stacker provides for a very fast adaptation to different sheet metal blank sizes. Such a lifter table de-stacker is preferably provided for feeding sheet metal blanks into a rounding apparatus which is feeding rounded blank container bodies into a resistance seam welding machine for container bodies.
