  • Patent number: 11772025
Abstract: Provided herein are filter assemblies that more effectively harness the energy of a cleaning pulse. Specifically, the filter assembly may have a direction-dependent flow resistance by including a flow control component positioned downstream of the filter component and the support structure which prevents the fluid stream from a cleaning pulse from dissipating through the filter component as it cleans but allows sufficient fluid stream flowing in the forward direction through the filter component during normal operation.

  • Patent number: 11642622
Abstract: A desiccant member is disclosed that comprises a polymer material and a bentonite material. The desiccant member is capable of absorbing moisture from an atmosphere containing siloxanes, organic compounds having a boiling point greater than 60 C, or mixtures thereof. The desiccant member is contamination resistant and may be regenerable. The desiccant member may have a high working moisture capacity that is suited for demanding environments.

  • Publication number: 20190226574
Abstract: A vent system for pressure equalization of an enclosure, such as a gearbox housing or axle of an automobile. The vent system includes a vent module including a housing defining a passageway, a membrane maintained in the passageway, and a sorbent maintained in the passageway; and a flow control module associated with the vent module and including a valve having an inner channel.

  • Publication number: 20150308582
Abstract: A vent system for an enclosure containing a liquid, the system comprising a vent module including a housing defining a passageway, a membrane maintained in the passageway, and a sorbent maintained in the passageway; and a flow control module associated with the vent module and including a valve having an inner channel through which air is able to flow in a first direction and a second, opposite direction through the valve, where the flow control module acts as a barrier to liquid flow through the valve from the enclosure toward the sorbent.
