Abstract: A front and rear pair of crawler assemblies are provided for supporting the ring of a ring supported crane so the crane can travel under load. The front pair of crawler assemblies which form an independent transporter mechanism are selectively and reversely powered to facilitate forward and reverse as well as turning movement. The rear pair of crawler assemblies are disposed in idling arrangement.
