Abstract: A universal cabling or prewiring system installed in a home or other building during construction, the system providing electronic communication between a multitude of electronic devices and electronic control devices, where the system can accommodate changes in location or type of equipment, can receive additional equipment not originally contemplated, can receive equipment not yet developed, such that any home design can be prewired in a generally standardized format.
