  • Publication number: 20080190951
Abstract: A storage container having a lid that can be removed from a corresponding container body, folded, and then placed within a cavity of the container body during storage of the storage container is provided. The lid of such a storage container may include one or more foldable portions that extend across a central portion. The foldable portions may include a hinge and/or a flexible material. The storage container may also be stackable. For example, a foldable lid may be placed in a first container body, when the foldable lid is in a folded configuration, and a second container body may be received by the first container body, such that the folded lid fits in a space defined between a base of the first container body and a base of a second container body.

  • Patent number: 5074562
Abstract: A spherical mechanical puzzle is comprised of a plurality of separately identifiable puzzle pieces that are hand manipulated over tracks formed in a spherical base member of the puzzle. Three continuous and mutually perpendicular equatorial tracks are formed in the surface of the puzzle base member dividing the base member into eight separate surface sections, each surface section having a different color. The plurality of puzzle pieces are mounted on the three tracks for sliding movement along the tracks, and each of the puzzle pieces is divided into four segments or two segments having identifying colors that correspond to the colors of the base member surface sections. The mechanical puzzle is solved by hand manipulating the puzzle pieces over the three tracks to positions on the tracks where each of the puzzle pieces is positioned adjacent surface sections having the same colors as the puzzle pieces.

  • Patent number: 4205936
Abstract: A first-in first-out controlled environment warehousing system including a series of sloped modules having a controlled environment therein through which products to be stored traverse. The products line up at the lower end of each module for ready removal therefrom on a first-in first-out basis, and only the product enters the controlled environment. Fork lifts and other loading or unloading devices remain out of the controlled environment. Earth, in addition to a passage for empty product containers, serves as insulation for the product passage in each module.
