    Abstract: A basketball hoop assembly and kit is described with the assembly comprising a flexible sheet which has the shape of a backboard, a hoop mount which is secured to the front face of the sheet, a hoop which is secured to the hoop mount and a net which is secured to the hoop. The basketball hoop assembly of this invention may be mounted on a wall surface by means of the adhesive backing on the sheet and may be removed therefrom without leaving marks on the wall or residue thereon.
