Daniel E. Reed has filed for patents to protect the following inventions. This listing includes patent applications that are pending as well as patents that have already been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

  • Publication number: 20240395142
Abstract: A predictive dynamic alert, control, and management system configured to simultaneously detect multiple moving and stationary entities in an environment. The system may use a combination of radio frequency ranging and local sensors to predict projected paths of environmental entities and bolster movement and positioning data in areas having low radio frequency bandwidth.
    Type: Application

  • Publication number: 20240355207
Abstract: A predictive dynamic alert, control, and management system configured to detect traffic members through a plurality of sensor nodes and transponders in hazardous environments, learn and predict traffic paths and traffic habits of traffic members, and provide advance warning and advance action and control signals to prevent traffic accidents, is provided.

  • Patent number: 11756427
Abstract: A traffic signal system for congested trafficways has a plurality of stationary alarm light/sensor-reader combinations and mobile alarm light/sensor-reader combinations monitoring each other and monitory tags placed on individuals, machines, and hazards to provide real time alarms to not only pedestrians but also machine operators, who are potentially approaching harm's way, or have the better ability to avert potential harm. Different forms of alarms are provided to indicate different kinds of alarm conditions and to reduce complacency to alarms, and thus improve effectiveness.

  • Patent number: 9834894
Abstract: A drainage installation (20), for a warehouse and/or factory floor that has a surface level (26), has a drainage channel (24) recessed into the floor and a plurality of sections of flat grating (22) seated inside the drainage channel (24). The drainage channel (24) has an axially-elongated, square-U shaped channel portion which is flanked by horizontal shoulders (30), which then transition into vertically-depending skirt portions (32). The horizontal shoulders (30) as well as the sections of flat grating (22) are arranged to be more less planar with the surface level (26). Wherein, the skirt portions (32) are formed with a series of apertures (36) which either allow the injection of wet cement underneath the shoulder portions (30) of the drainage channel (24), or alternately the venting of the wet cement when the cavity under the shoulder portions (30) are over-filled.
