  • Publication number: 20240125687
Abstract: A device may include a fluid region. A device may also include a magnetochemical sensor for detecting magnetic particles in the fluid region, wherein the magnetochemical sensor comprises: a first ferromagnetic layer, a second ferromagnetic layer, and a spacer layer situated between and coupled to the first ferromagnetic layer and the second ferromagnetic layer. A device may further include a current-carrying structure for drawing the magnetic particles in the fluid region toward the magnetochemical sensor, wherein: the current-carrying structure consists of a single, undivided structure, and the current-carrying structure is configured to carry a current in at least one direction that is substantially parallel to an in-plane axis or a longitudinal axis of the magnetochemical sensor. The magnetochemical sensor may be one of a plurality of magnetochemical sensors in a sensor array.

  • Publication number: 20240119328
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a quantum system of dimension M comprising a transmon device. The transmon device is in an initial state ?ini which is restricted to a state ?S of a N-dimensional quantum system embedded in the quantum system, where N<M. The transmon device is configured to receive a sequence of pulses for transforming the initial state ?ini to a state ?ext of the quantum system. The transmon device is connected to a readout that is configured to perform a projection-valued measure (PVM) of the transmon device in its state ?ext.

  • Publication number: 20070124228
Abstract: An electronic bartering system and method for facilitating a trade of a first item owned by a first user for a second item owned by a second user when the first user and the second user are connected to a network. The electronic bartering system and method receives a request from the first user, allows the second user to access items owned by the first user, receives a response from the second user, and receives an acceptance from the first user The request identifies the second item and is a potential trade request. The response identifies the first item and is a trade offer The trade comprises the potential trade request, the trade offer, and the acceptance.
