  • Publication number: 20260240131
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an artificial bait having certain physical characteristics that allow for it to remain forward-facing in the water to be quickly detected location- and direction-wise using sonar techniques. The characteristics of the bait also allow for it to engage in erratic darting action and remain in the water during retrieval for an extended period of time. Typically, the bait can include a body having a head portion, a tail portion, and a middle portion therebetween. A first attachment structure configured to receive a line can be located on or near the head portion. A hook structure can be inserted behind the first attachment structure, for example, on or near the middle portion of the body. The head portion can further include a portion of dense material therein.

  • Publication number: 20260231917
Abstract: A fishing lure includes a primary lure body, a propeller tail rotatable relative to the body, and a sound generating assembly that generates noise or sound during rotation of the tail. The sound generating assembly may include a sound structure co-rotatable with the propeller tail and a rivet adjacent and distal to the sound structure. The sound structure rotates relative to and engages the rivet to generate the noise or sound. The sound structure may be partially housed in a sound resonance chamber that amplifies the noise or sound.

  • Publication number: 20260231918
Abstract: A jig for a slow death fishing technique and/or casting applications includes a partially embedded swivel that controls movement of a hook connected to the swivel. The partially embedded swivel can reduce the risk of the fishing line becoming tangled which may allow the jig to be casted. Casting the jig can widen the potential positions of the jig in the water column. The swivel may also be positioned in a cavity or recess to further reduce exposure of the swivel to the fishing line and otherwise control movement of the hook during trolling, drifting, etc. and/or casting. In some embodiments, the jig may include a jig head that is configured (e.g., shaped or contoured) to control or optimize water flowing past the jig.
