  • Publication number: 20250279882
Abstract: A method for using a privacy preserving linear optimization technique to perform computations on encrypted data while ensuring that the original data remains confidential and secure from any unauthorized access based on secure multi-party computation is provided. The method includes: receiving, from each of several entities, a respective input that includes encrypted data; constructing a table that includes first information that relates to an objective function, second information that relates to a boundary value, and third information that relates to a polynomial function that is applicable to each respective input; and determining a value that maximizes the polynomial function subject to a constraint that a result of applying the objective function to the value is less than or equal to the boundary value.

  • Publication number: 20240273832
Abstract: A computer system, in response to detecting the occurrence of a first event, applies a first virtual effect to the representation of the field of view of the one or more cameras, including: applying the first virtual effect with a first set of values for a first characteristic of the first virtual effect, wherein the first set of values for the first characteristic of the first virtual effect are selected in accordance with segmentation of the view of the first physical object from the view of the portion of the first physical environment; and applying the first virtual effect with a second set of values for a second characteristic of the first virtual effect, wherein the second set of values for the second characteristic of the first virtual effect are selected in accordance with tracking of movement of one or more portions of the first physical object.

  • Patent number: 11165837
Abstract: A system for augmented reality viewing generates a unique code corresponding to a user device. Information corresponding to the unique code is broadcast from the user device and the unique code is displayed on the user device. The information is configured to be received by an augmented reality device. A camera of an augmented reality device is activated upon receiving the information broadcast from the user device. The camera is configured to scan for the unique code. The user device is joined to an augmented reality session of the augmented reality device in response to the camera scanning the unique code displayed on the user device and by transmitting identification information to the user device based on the unique code. The simplified joining process improves the user experience and allows the user to more quickly view an augmented reality environment directly on a user device.
