  • Publication number: 20230329854
Abstract: The invention provides a filter assembly including a string or wire such that a lasso type cincture is effected, said filter being openable and closeable while in deployed within a bodily vessel. A string lengthen or shorting adjustment mechanism, such as a ratchet or reel allows more length of string into the device or alternatively to shorten the length of available string in the system. The described invention, when used to ameliorate venous clots and most arterio-venous dialysis grafts, a filter-tipped aspirator is used downstream from the clot to capture and remove dislocated emboli. A method of using same is disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20230277349
Abstract: A method and device to correctly orient an intracranial occlusion device, such as a stent having differential porosity, with respect to desired areas of greater or lesser blood flow (e.g., branch vessels and aneurysms, respectively), said device being particularly adapted for use in treating aneurysms in intracranial or other tortuous vasculature. An intravascular device comprising a delivery catheter having a hub and angular lumen capable of constraining a pusher wire within a packaging catheter to deploy said stent in an orientation wherein the area of least porosity abuts the aneurysm, and area of maximal porosity permits blood flow to a branch or other vessel. A method of using same.

  • Patent number: 11738172
Abstract: An innovative medical device that permits rapid, minimally invasive restoration of blood flow across a vascular blockage. A method employing said device, allowing for lysis or removal of said blockage. Said device creates a temporary bypass using longitudinal structure configured for insertion into the blood vessel and adapted to deliver a side hole to a target area. The side hole defines a distal first segment and a proximal second segment with a lumen to allow blood flow therethrough to the distal end hole. In an alternate embodiment, a slidable outer sheath can cover the side hole to permit reversal of blood flow from the distal end hole to a proximal end hole located outside a patient's body by means of an aspiration controller. Alternate embodiments include an optional anchoring balloon, a macerating stent or wires, perforations for fluid delivery, and a backflow valve.

  • Publication number: 20230200844
Abstract: A surgical apparatus for treating a vessel blockage in a vessel of a patient having an elongated member having an outer wall, a first hole at a distal portion and a second hole spaced proximally from the first hole positioned in a side wall. A first lumen is provided within the elongated member for blood flow through the second hole, through the lumen and exiting the first hole to maintain blood flow during treatment of the vessel blockage. A motor driven impeller is rotatable during blood flow through the first lumen to enhance blood flow as blood flows into the second hole positioned proximal of the vessel blockage and exits the first hole distal of the vessel blockage during injection of fluid through one or more openings to treat the vessel blockage.

  • Patent number: 11660111
Abstract: A device for endovascular treatment to ameliorate aneurysm recurrences by deploying a treatment mesh having a plurality of vertically oriented elongated support reinforcement elements that are substantially parallel and oriented upon a plane in communication with the mesh. Upon deployment, the array of distal ends of the support extensions and reinforcements are substantially oriented upon a plane, which plane is in substantially the same orientation as the opening of the aneurysm into which the device was deployed. The treatment mesh may incorporate a coating of hydrogel, optionally impregnated with pharmaceutical compounds.
