  • Publication number: 20110132921
Abstract: A vending machine system includes a control module for controlling a cooling system. The cooling system, which includes an evaporator, may omit a heating element for defrosting the evaporator. In operation, the control module cycles an evaporator fan in conjunction with a compressor based on a required set temperature to help keep products within a specified range. In an embodiment, the evaporator fan is turned on and off at substantially the same time as the compressor is turned on and off. In another embodiment, there is a predetermined delay after the compressor is turned on and off before the evaporator is respectively turned on and off. Other variations are contemplated.

  • Publication number: 20090177329
Abstract: A control system and method of use for controlling work output delivered to a floor surface by a work tool associated with a floor maintenance machine. The control system includes a hydraulic power source, a motor assembly coupled to the power source and the work tool, a pressure sensor in communication with the motor assembly, an actuator coupled to the work tool, and a controller in communication with the pressure sensor. A valve is configured to regulate the pressure provided by the power source and applied the actuator assembly. Based on a sensed pressure applied to the motor assembly, the controller causes the actuator assembly to adjust contact of the work tool with the floor surface. Work output delivered to the floor surface by the machine can be uniformly maintained during a cleaning period as the controller adjusts floor contact of the work tool via the hydraulic actuator.

  • Patent number: 5444996
Abstract: A communications channel is provided between a washer and a dryer. When the dryer is drying, a signal is sent to the washer to extend the final spin operation in order to continue to mechanically remove water While the dryer operation continues. Fabric type information and fabric quantity information for a load are provided from the washer to the dryer. This information is used to indicate an estimated drying time for the load and to set the dryer fabric type selection.
