    Abstract: A device for generating at least one drop of a liquid includes a receiver having a receiving space for receiving a liquid and an outlet opening adjacent to the receiving space. The device further includes an actuator that is activated to generate an impact against a transmission and causes an impact transmission movement of the transmission. The impact is transmitted from the transmission to the receiver by the impact transmission movement to trigger the dispensing of a drop through the outlet opening.
