Abstract: An exemplary method and apparatus are provided for establishing a communication between a first communication terminal and a second communication terminal over a network. A server dynamically generates a first single-use key and a second single-use key respectively associated with the first and second communication terminals as a function of time data related to at least one previous communication between the first communication terminal and the second communication terminal, during a request to establish a call from the first communication terminal to the second communication terminal. The server compares the first and second keys that were generated, and authorizes the establishment of the communication if the compared keys are identical.

Abstract: To manage a continuity of telephone service in relation to a user associated with a communication terminal (TC) and with at least one communication device (DC), a server (SC) connected to the communication terminal and to the communication device is able to power off the communication terminal following detection of an event relating to the absence of the user close to the communication terminal, and to enable call forwarding from the communication terminal to the communication device based on a user profile. The server is also able to power on the communication terminal following detection of an event relating to the presence of the user close to the communication terminal, and to disable the call forwarding from the communication terminal to the communication device.

Abstract: To integrate telephony with Web-based information services, and develop multi-modal telephony applications that combine graphical input and output with traditional speech-based user interfaces, a Web server for handling information which is in these different modal forms, has an internet interface for supporting connections on the internet, and a terminal interface for supporting connections from the server to user terminals, and for passing information in at least one of the modal forms. A service controller controls input or output of the information on the interfaces, and processes the information received from or sent to either interface, according to its modal form.
