Publication number: 20240072748Abstract: A command to update a volume level of a group comprising a first and a second playback device to a requested group volume level is detected, the requested group volume level indicating respective requested volume levels for the first and second playback devices. Based on the command, (i) a first volume state variable of the first playback device is determined to be adjusted based on a first maximum volume state variable and (ii) a second volume state variable of the second playback device is determined to be adjusted based on a second maximum volume state variable. Based on the first and second maximum volume state variables, the volume level of the playback group is adjusted to an alternate group volume level different from the requested group volume level. An indication that the volume level of the playback group has been adjusted to the requested group volume level is provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 23, 2023Publication date: February 29, 2024Inventors: Frank Charlton, Jodi Vautrin, Robert Lambourne, Nathan Fish, Daniel Casimiro, Won So

Publication number: 20060072270Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for fault detection and interruption in power lines are provided. Circuitry is implemented via software and hardware that is configured to sense an operational aspect of a power line, such as current levels in a three-phase power line, and apply signal processing to the sensed operational aspect to detect faults including different types of faults such as transient and steady state faults and can also be configured to identify the type of fault. Information on the fault and the identification of the type of fault can be displayed, stored, or some other output operation can be implemented. Circuitry can be implemented to provide digital signal processing and analog signal processing to, for example, independently and in parallel (e.g., redundant operation) detect faults and respond to faults as they occur (i.e., in real time).Type: ApplicationFiled: January 31, 2005Publication date: April 6, 2006Inventors: John Mladenik, David Evans, Jose Barba, Daniel Fish, Gerald Bench, Andrew Wagner

Patent number: 6845603Abstract: The cutter bar of a side-pull mower-conditioner is located within a housing including a forward top wall section defined by an access door that is hinged for being lifted from a substantially horizontal position to a raised position permitting access to the cutter bar. A towing tongue mounted at the side of the carrier frame of the mower-conditioner is mounted for swinging horizontally about a vertical axis and is operatively associated with the access door so that the open access door is closed when the tongue is swung toward the open door. In one embodiment, the association is a specially shaped door support member fixed to the tongue.Type: GrantFiled: March 22, 2004Date of Patent: January 25, 2005Assignee: Deere & CompanyInventors: Roger Dale Stephenson, Darwin Daniel Fish

Patent number: 6688092Abstract: A baler is equipped with a pick-up for elevating a crop windrow from the ground and delivering it to a rotary conveyor which delivers the crop through an inlet to the baling chamber. Suspended for operation in conjunction with the pick-up so as to aid in achieving continuous, even delivery of crop to the baling chamber is a crop control arrangement including a baffle located in front of the path swept by the pick-up teeth and a plurality of hold down rods which are mounted to the baffle and extend to the rear to the rotary conveyor. The suspension of the baffle allows it to engage the top of a windrow and to flex vertically in a quick, responsive manner both to changes in thickness along the length of and crosswise to the width of the windrow.Type: GrantFiled: January 14, 2002Date of Patent: February 10, 2004Assignee: Deere & CompanyInventors: Henry Dennis Anstey, Daniel Eric Derscheid, Darwin Daniel Fish

Patent number: 5993903Abstract: A seed treating apparatus includes a housing having at least three, vertically spaced alternating converging and diverging conical members therein and a plurality of sprayer units arranged to coat the seed flowing through the housing with liquid seed treating agent. A first, converging upper conical member guides the seed into an upper, open end of the housing. A second diverging conical member is located below the first conical member and can be vertically moved to adjust the rate at which the seed leaves the first conical member. A first set of spraying units is arranged about the inner periphery of the housing and is preferably aimed toward the second conical member for spraying the seed as it flows towards and over the second conical member. The seed then is caused to flow toward a third converging conical member which guides the seed to a lower open end of the housing. A second set of spraying units is provided between the second and third conical members for additional spraying of the seed.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 1997Date of Patent: November 30, 1999Assignee: Toepfer's Manufacturing and Distributing Co., Inc.Inventors: Randal Wade Toepfer, Michael Glenn Redlich, James Daniel Fish, Jr.
