  • Publication number: 20070068050
Abstract: A hand truck-mountable snowplow is described. The snowplow includes a plow blade includes a front snow-engaging surface and a rear surface. The snowplow further includes a mounting apparatus having a connecting member and a toe plate-engaging member. The connecting member can be connected at a first end to the rear surface of the plow blade. The toe plate-engaging member is attached to the connecting member at a second end of the connecting member. The toe plate-engaging member includes an upper engagement plate and a lower engagement plate. The upper and lower engagement plates are in substantially parallel planes and are separated by a distance of at least the thickness of a toe plate of a hand truck. The snowplow further includes a securing mechanism adapted to hold the toe plate-engaging member in place relative to the toe plate when the toe plate is received by the toe plate-engaging member.

  • Publication number: 20050092585
Abstract: A modular drive system for a self-stacking conveyor belt adapted to travel at least along one non-linear path segment includes at least one drive cassette adapted to removably engage sidelinks on an edge of the conveyor belt, and preferably at least a first drive cassette engaging the conveyor belt sidelinks at an inner curve of the segment and at least a second drive cassette engaging the conveyor belt sidelinks at an outer curve of the segment. Each sidelink includes a base portion integral with a support portion containing means for engaging a drive belt of the drive cassette and a means for engaging the conveyor belt. The support portion is configured to permit at least one of vertical and horizontal fluid flow with respect to the conveyor belt. The support portion of the sidelink can align with an overlying sidelink to resist vertical and horizontal displacement between tiers.
