  • Publication number: 20220269673
Abstract: A system includes an interface and a processor. The interface is configured to receive a request to create planning spreadsheet data. The processor is configured to: generate the planning spreadsheet data based at least in part on actual data from a previous time period, where the planning spreadsheet data is saved in a planning spreadsheet; receive an indication that the actual data has changed to an updated actual data; prompt a user of the planning spreadsheet to indicate whether or not to update the planning spreadsheet in response to the indication that the actual data has changed; and generate an alternate planning spreadsheet data based at least in part on the updated actual data in response to an indication not to update the planning spreadsheet, where the alternate planning spreadsheet data is saved in an alternate planning spreadsheet.

  • Patent number: 11023536
Abstract: A social network system that provides a keyword search result set from content within the social network receives from an enterprise application a business object and an associated system of record, and generates a social object for the social network, where the social object corresponds to the business object and associated system of record. The system generates a plurality of conversations related to the social object, where each conversation comprises content. The system indexes each of the conversations as a conversation document and receives a keyword search term. The system then searches for the keyword search term within the conversation documents, and generates a result set of relevant conversations in response to the searching, where the relevant conversations are displayed in order of relevance.

  • Patent number: 10891433
Abstract: A system for data transformation includes a database, a spreadsheet storage of a spreadsheet for planning, an interface, and a processor. The spreadsheet storage is separate from the database. The interface is configured to receive a database datum associated with a large time period. The processor is configured to generate a plurality of spreadsheet data based at least in part on the database datum. Each spreadsheet datum is associated with one of a set of small time periods. The plurality of spreadsheet data is stored in the spreadsheet storage. The spreadsheet storage is separate from the database. The processor is configured to provide the plurality of spreadsheet data for display in the spreadsheet.

  • Publication number: 20180336239
Abstract: A system for database updating includes a database, a spreadsheet storage of a spreadsheet for planning, an interface, and a processor. The spreadsheet storage is separate from the database. The interface is configured to receive an indication to modify the spreadsheet. The processor is configured to store a modification in the spreadsheet storage based at least in part on the indication, determine one or more objects to change in the database based at least in part on the indication, and cause change to the one or more objects in the database.

  • Patent number: 9626728
Abstract: A social network system provides a social network that receives from an application a business object and an associated system of record and generates a social object that corresponds to the business object and that comprises the system of record for the enterprise application. The social network assigns one or more members to the social object. The social network receives first changes to the system of record and, in response, modifies the social object to incorporate the first changes. The system provides second changes to the social object to the enterprise application, and the enterprise application, in response, modifies the system of record to incorporate the second changes.

  • Patent number: 9479473
Abstract: A social network system that tracks unread messages across a social network for a social network user receives a request from the user to display unread messages across the social network and generates and displays a list of one or more conversations, where the user is a member of the displayed conversations. The system then, for each conversation, determines and displays the number of unread messages.

  • Patent number: 7934249
Abstract: Apparatus, methods, and computer program products are disclosed that determine Rights to an entity. The disclosed technology maintains data structures representing a set of entities. These entities include protected-entities and sensitivity-entities. Each of the sensitivity-entities is associated with a respective sensitivity access-control-list. The sensitivity-entities include a first sensitivity-entity that is associated with a first sensitivity-access-control-list. A first protected-entity being one of one or more of the protected-entities associated with the first sensitivity-entity. The technology evaluates Rights to the first protected-entity with respect to the first sensitivity-access-control-list and enables access to the first protected-entity responsive to the Rights evaluation and presents the first protected-entity when access is enabled.
