  • Patent number: 4397481
Abstract: The invention relates to a supporting chassis for a working machine, having a central frame provided, on each side of its longitudinal middle plane, with an indentation, whose general concavity is transversely directed opposite the middle plane, and which is delimited by two transverse arms, each one including a substantially vertical cross-plate, and, further having two longitudinal side-members placed on either sides of the middle plane, substantially parallel thereto, the ends of the arms defining an indentation which constitutes the areas where the central frame is secured by welding to the corresponding side-member, each arm being secured to the side-member essentially by welding the outermost edge of the cross-plate of this arm to the side-member, and the invention finding an application in the production of a hydraulic bucket loader with strong chassis.

  • Patent number: 4361242
Abstract: The invention relates to the chassis of a public works machine, constituted by a central frame joined with two side-members.After assembly with the two side-members, the central frame constitutes a girder comprising a lower plate, an upper plate, two cross-plates, and two longitudinal plates, which plates are joined together as follows:each cross-plate to the upper plate, to the lower plate and to each one of the longitudinal plates, and the upper plate and the lower plate to the longitudinal plates, so as to constitute a closed compartment. The invention finds an application in the construction of a chassis for a mechanical shovel.

  • Patent number: 4297815
Abstract: The invention relates to a power arm comprising four faces, two of which being constituted by plates, which arm is mounted for pivotment about an axis and with respect to a structure, and is fitted with the coupling lug of a jack comprising a pivoting axis of said jack and its support, permitting a deflection of said jack which is parallel to the deflection of the arm, said support being constituted by extended portions of the plates. The arm comprises a cross piece of which the length 1 is substantially equal to the spacing between the said extended portions and which is situated between the said extended portions, and transversed by the axis, a threaded end of which cooperates with a nut to hold the cross piece in position between the said extended portions. An application is found in the production of a shovel boom.

  • Patent number: 4275542
Abstract: The invention relates to a power arm made of a bent, welded structure defined by two lateral plates and by an upper plate and a lower plate welded to the lateral plates and comprising a box having an upper cap and a lower base forming a cross piece of width equal to the spacing of the lateral plates, disposed between these plates in the zone of their elbow and welded to said plates. The cap and the case join, forming two angles, along two lines which pass substantially through the neutral axis of each lateral plate. The invention finds particular application in the manufacture of the boom of a hydraulically operated shovel.

  • Patent number: 3977148
Abstract: This invention relates to a jib of a public works machine constituted by two elements, a piece for connecting said two elements, and removable means for locking the piece to the elements. The connecting piece is mounted on one element and comprises first holes disposed at the apex of a polygon; the other element comprises second holes separated from one another by distances equal to the length of the sides of the polygon; finally, when the jib is assembled, the connecting piece is fast with the first element via its axis of rotation and a removable pin introduced into a corresponding hole and in a special hole of said first element and fast with the second element via two removable pins introduced into corresponding holes. One application of this invention is the realization of a hydraulic shovel whose overall size is reduced for suitable road-transport.
