    Abstract: An improved comfortable extended wear sacral brace for supporting and binding the sacral iliac and lumbo-sacral joints comprised of a rigid posterior sacral pad with a vertical central channel. The sacral pad has padding adjacent the central channel. An abdominal leverage plate is provided for anchoring the sacral pad by means of sacral pad and abdominal plate tying straps. Leverage mechanisms with mechanical advantage linkages further connect the sacral pad and abdominal plate.
