  • Patent number: 12002203
Abstract: Described are systems and methods for assessing a likelihood of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) within a subject patient based upon an analysis of characteristics indicative of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension within an imaging study of the subject patient. The systems and methods can identify characteristics of one or more anatomical structures within a cardiac region of the subject patient indicative of CTEPH, characteristics of a pulmonary vasculature of the subject patient indicative of CTEPH, and characteristics of a chronic abnormality in a lung of the subject patient indicative of CTEPH. The systems and methods can assess these characteristics to compute the likelihood of CTEPH within the subject patient.

  • Publication number: 20240173643
Abstract: The invention is directed to a method for recovering at least one product from a fermentation broth. The invention relates to the use of a vacuum distillation vessel to recover products, such as ethanol, from a fermentation broth, where the fermentation broth comprises viable microbial biomass, and where the recovery of the product is completed in such a manner to ensure the viability of the microbial biomass. The invention provides for product recovery at an effective rate so as to prevent the accumulation of product in the fermentation broth. To ensure the viability of the microbial biomass, the invention is designed to reduce the amount of stress on the microbial biomass. By ensuring the viability of the microbial biomass, the microbial biomass may be recycled and reused in the fermentation process, which may result in an increased efficiency of the fermentation process.

  • Patent number: 11972062
Abstract: A keyboard may be provided that has keys overlapped by a touch sensor. The keyboard may have key sensor circuitry for monitoring switching in the keys for key press input. The keyboard may also have touch sensor circuitry such as capacitive touch sensor circuitry that monitors capacitive electrodes in the touch sensor for touch sensor input such as multitouch gesture input. The keyboard may include an outer layer of fabric that overlaps the keys. The fabric may have openings that are arranged to form alphanumeric characters. Light sources may emit light that passes through the openings and illuminates the alphanumeric characters. The touch sensor may have signal lines that are not visible through the openings. The signal lines may be transparent, may be covered by a diffuser, or may circumvent the openings so that they do not overlap.

  • Publication number: 20240117138
Abstract: Disclosed are polymeric foamed compositions, foam padded materials that include such polymeric foamed compositions disposed on a sheet material, and packaging articles (e.g., envelopes) made from such foam padded materials. The polymeric foamed composition on the sheet material has a plurality of foamed structures formed from the foamable composition attached to the sheet material by a layer of the foamable composition, and the plurality foam structures each having a hollow core and a foam exterior shell.

  • Publication number: 20240090718
Abstract: A surface cleaning device includes a nozzle and an odor dial assembly. The nozzle includes a nozzle housing and a dirty air passageway. The odor dial assembly include a fragrance member and a dial body configured to be removably coupled to the nozzle housing. The dial body at least partially defines a fragrance cavity configured to at least partially receive the fragrance member and a fragrance passageway extending therethrough. The odor dial assembly is configured to transition between a plurality of user-selectable positions to adjust an amount of fragrance particles released by the fragrance member into the dirty air passageway.

  • Publication number: 20240090721
Abstract: A robotic cleaner includes a housing, a suction conduit with an opening, and a leading roller mounted in front of a brush roll. An inter-roller air passageway may be defined between the leading roller and the brush roll wherein the lower portion of the leading roller is exposed to a flow path to the suction conduit and an upper portion of the leading roller is outside of the flow path. Optionally, a combing unit includes a plurality of combing protrusions extending into the leading roller and having leading edges not aligned with a center of the leading roller. Optionally, a sealing strip is located along a rear side of the opening and along a portion of left and right sides of the opening. The underside may define side edge vacuum passageways extending from the sides of the housing partially between the leading roller and the sealing strip towards the opening.

  • Publication number: 20240089185
Abstract: Example embodiments involve a metrics collection system for collecting software usage metrics from one or more client devices at deployments. A computer, such as a server configured to execute the metrics collection system, collects software usage metrics (e.g., as a metrics submission from a client device) of the software product at the deployment, identifies a metrics type of the software usage metrics collected, assigns the software usage metrics to a metrics category, and calculates and updates a metrics score of the metrics category, based on the software usage metrics collected.
