Abstract: The invention concerns a method for managing storage of coins of different values in a magazine (28), comprising, for each coin to be stored: a step of receiving (100) and identifying the coin; a step of determining (116) whether the coin should be stored in the magazine (28) or in a chest (34). The invention is characterized in that it comprises a step which consists in periodically calculations (112) the maximum number of coins of each value capable of being stored in the magazine (28), and if the number of coins of some value as the received coin which are present in the magazine (28) is less than the maximum number of coins of said value capable of being stored in the magazine (28), then the coin is stored in the magazine (28), otherwise, the coin is stored in the chest (34).

Abstract: A selector device for selecting objects (1) inserted by way of payment into a dispenser of goods or services via an insertion orifice (10), the device comprising a transport member (100) provided with a housing (110) designed to receive the objects singly and suitable for bringing an object (1) placed in said housing (110) into a measurement zone (ZM) where sensors (301, 302, 303) are disposed for verifying conformity of the object (1). In order to simplify the drive mechanism of the apparatus, the apparatus comprises a clock movement (20) having an hours shaft on which a disk (34) is mounted having time data print elements (36) disposed around its rear face. A strip of paper (50) is displaced between said print elements (34) and a print hammer (52).
